Marmee relocated back to Billings, Montana in June of 2016 after living abroad for 26 years.
Marmee was born and raised in Glasgow, Montana and finished her last two years of high school at Billings Senior High. She received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine (interdisciplinary major Mathematics/Economics with a minor in French) in 1990.
From 1990 to 2002 she worked in Paris, France in both corporate and freelance IT while establishing a family.
From 2002 to 2007 her husband's career took the family to South Africa where she obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching from the University of Stellenbosch in 2007.
From 2007 to 2016 another career move took her family to Singapore and she obtained a Master degree (MSS) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Edith Cowen University, Australia in 2010. She became a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist in 2012.
Marmee is very familiar with global, multi-cultural lifestyles and the impacts these lifestyles have on couples and families. She is grateful to have lived in so many interesting places and to have developed such a fascinating network of friends and professional colleagues. She is passionate about sharing and teaching others what she has learned while living abroad.
Currently Marmee coaches communication for duos of all kinds via the Imago model, teaches French at Billings West and Senior High Schools and is a former faculty member of Montana State University Billings. She provides private tutoring for individuals and groups in person and via Skype.
